The bagel dough

Greek yogurt

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt, mixing until a thick ball of dough forms.
- Lightly flour a clean surface and transfer the dough onto it, adding extra flour on top.
- Knead the dough gently on both sides and flatten it into a circular shape.
- Divide the dough into 4 even portions and roll each into a sausage shape, connecting the ends to form bagels.
- Place the bagels on the lined baking tray and brush the tops with butter or an alternative.
- Sprinkle the tops with sesame seeds and/or poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown, then allow to cool completely.
