Ingredients

The salmon

  • 2 8-oz. salmon filets
  • 1 Tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 small lemon, thinly sliced

The garlic sauce

  • ¼ cup hummus
  • 1-2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 Tbsp fresh dill, minced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • to thin water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare your cooking surface.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the salmon filets, then drizzle with oil and season with salt, pepper, and dill.
  3. Top the salmon with thin lemon slices.
  4. If using a skillet, sear the salmon skin-side down for 2-3 minutes before transferring to the oven.
  5. Bake the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  6. For the garlic sauce, mix hummus, lemon juice, dill, and garlic in a bowl, adding water to achieve desired consistency.
  7. Serve the salmon with the garlic dill sauce and enjoy.
