Ingredients

The crust

  • 1 prepared keto pie crust

The filling

  • 6 large eggs
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cooked, diced ham or bacon
  • 1 medium green onion, chopped
  • 1 cup freshly shredded cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until smooth.
  3. Add the diced ham, chopped green onion, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper to the egg mixture and combine well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  6. Check for doneness by gently shaking the pie plate; if the center wiggles, bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Once set, remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
