Cheesy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 small head cauliflower
  • ¼ to ½ cup hot sauce
  • ½ cup vegan shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup vegan milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, vegan milk, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, garlic powder, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, hot sauce, and cheese.
  3. Remove florets from the cauliflower and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Toss the cauliflower in the mixture until well coated.
  5. Season panko bread crumbs with remaining salt, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Coat the cauliflower in the panko bread crumbs.
  7. Spread the coated cauliflower on a greased baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 22-25 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, optionally with a dipping sauce.
