Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour (blanched)
  • cup sweetener
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Glaze Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Other

  • to taste cooking oil (olive or coconut)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray the donut pan with cooking oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine all the wet ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and stir.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  6. Spoon the mixture evenly into the donut pan to make 6 donuts.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While the donuts are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing the whipping cream, powdered sweetener, and vanilla in a small bowl until combined.
  9. Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer the donuts to a cooling rack and allow them to cool for at least 10 minutes before frosting with the glaze.
