Ingredients

The donuts

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • ½ cup granular Swerve or granulated keto sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon table salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

The vanilla glaze

  • 1 cup Swerve Confectioners or powdered keto sweetener
  • 2-3 tablespoons whole milk or keto-friendly milk
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

The chocolate glaze

  • 1 cup keto chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon refined coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, Swerve, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, melted butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.
  4. Pour or scoop the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes, checking for doneness until golden brown.
  6. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Prepare the vanilla glaze by mixing the ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  8. For the chocolate glaze, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  9. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and let set for 5-10 minutes before serving.
