Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, toss together the apples, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Melt the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the apples to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt for the topping.
- Add the melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Scatter the topping over the apples in the skillet.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
