Instructions
- Toss shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2 minutes on each side.
- Remove shrimp from the pan and dice into smaller pieces.
- Using a mini cheesecake springform pan, layer the ingredients: start with ½ cup of rice, press down, then add ½ cup of cucumbers, press down, followed by ½ to ⅔ cup of shrimp, and top with sliced avocados.
- Garnish with black sesame seeds and chives.
- Serve with tamari sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.
