The dressing

Instructions
- Prepare the dressing by whisking together all the dressing ingredients or shaking them in a mason jar.
- Set the dressing aside.
- Slice the pears and fennel thinly and place them in a bowl.
- Toss the sliced pear and fennel with the dressing and capers.
- Top the salad with chopped walnuts and an additional sprinkle of salt if desired.
