Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a thin layer of neutral oil.
- Add drained and rinsed chickpeas, BBQ sauce, and salt to the skillet, stirring to coat.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring every few minutes, until the sauce reduces, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- For crispier chickpeas, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- For the roasted option, preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Toss chickpeas with oil and salt, then spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 20 minutes, then drizzle BBQ sauce over chickpeas and toss to coat.
- Return to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce is sticky.
