Brown Butter Apple Blondies

The brown butter icing

confectioners' sugar

Instructions
- Brown the butter and set aside.
- Cook the chopped apples with maple syrup and cinnamon until slightly softened.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients and then combine with the dry ingredients.
- Fold in the cooked apples and spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 35 minutes until lightly browned and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Prepare the icing by mixing the remaining brown butter with confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Drizzle the icing over the cooled blondies and cut into squares.
