Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x9 brownie pan with parchment paper and butter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat the melted butter, sugar, and egg until light and creamy.
- Add the chopped pecans and apples to the butter mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in the flour mixture until just combined and spread the batter in the prepared pan.
- Melt the caramel candies in the microwave and drizzle over the batter, then top with whole pecans.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden, then cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
- For extra caramel flavor, drizzle more melted caramel over the cooled brownies before cutting.
