Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray an 8 by 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter with both sugars using a wooden spoon, then add the egg and vanilla and almond extracts until blended.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined, then fold in the chopped Heath bars and chocolate.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set, watching for bubbling.
- Let cool for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
