Cranberry Turkey Meatballs

The cranberry sauce

whole berry cranberry sauce

unsweetened applesauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
- In a mixing bowl, combine turkey, breadcrumbs, olive oil, egg, apple, sage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, mixing gently.
- Roll the mixture into 1 ½ to 2-inch meatballs and place them on the baking rack.
- Bake the meatballs for 12-14 minutes until cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce by combining cranberry sauce, applesauce, maple syrup, orange zest, and orange juice in a saucepan and heating until warm.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the sauce to coat and serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
