Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add shiitake mushrooms and sauté for 7-10 minutes until softened and browned.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, push mushrooms to the side, and add garlic.
- Sauté garlic until fragrant, then mix it with the mushrooms.
- Add coconut aminos and scrape the bottom of the pan, simmering until the liquid absorbs.
- Remove from heat, stir in toasted sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
