Instructions
- 1. Boil mushrooms, soy sauce, sugar, and water in a small saucepan.
- 2. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low, simmering until mushrooms are softened and liquid is absorbed, about 12–15 minutes.
- 3. Let mushrooms cool slightly, then thinly slice them.
- 4. Transfer sliced mushrooms to a bowl, add sesame seeds, and season with pepper.
