Ingredients

The corn

  • 4 large corn cobs in their husk

The topping

  • 4 Tbsp salted butter

Instructions

  1. Cut the corn cobs to fit your microwave.
  2. Soak each cob under running water and wrap in a wet paper towel.
  3. Microwave on high for 16 minutes for 4 cobs or 4 minutes per cob.
  4. Check if the kernels' color has deepened and become glossy.
  5. Allow to cool, then remove the paper towel and cut off the stem end.
  6. Peel off the husks and clean any cornsilk.
  7. Top each cob with 1 tablespoon of salted butter and serve.
