Ingredients

The corn

  • 1 ear un-husked corn on the cob

Optional toppings

  • to taste butter
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  1. Cut off the stalk end of the corn to allow it to slide out easily after cooking.
  2. Place the corn in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Let the corn sit for 1 minute to cool slightly.
  4. Squeeze the corn out of the husk carefully.
  5. Rinse the corn to remove any silk, then brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt if desired.
