The Corn

  • 6 ears fresh corn on the cob

The Cooking Water

  • as needed N/A cold water

Instructions

  1. Peel and shuck the corn.
  2. Place the corn in a large stock pot.
  3. Cover the corn with cold water.
  4. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.
  5. Once boiling and the corn is deep yellow, turn off the heat.
  6. Remove the corn from the water to cool.
  7. Serve immediately with butter and salt.
