Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4-5 pieces boneless chicken thighs

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoon creole seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

The sauce

  • ΒΌ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and creole seasoning, and set aside.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken on both sides for about 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Set the chicken aside once cooked.
  4. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice, then set aside.
  5. Add garlic and ginger to the pan and stir for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn them.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the honey mixture.
  7. Cook the chicken for about a minute while the sauce reduces, turning the chicken to coat it in the sauce.
  8. Turn off the heat, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately with rice or vegetables.
