Instructions
- Prepare two bowls: one with beaten eggs and another with a mixture of flour and cornstarch.
- Dip the chicken pieces in the egg, then coat them with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Heat oil in a deep pot until it reaches 350°F (180°C). Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- While the chicken is frying, mix the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- In a large pan, heat chili oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the sauce mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens.
- Add the fried chicken to the pan and coat it with the sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
