Healthier Hot Ham and Cheese Baked Sandwiches

Ingredients

The sandwiches

  • 12 pieces Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • ½ lb Ham
  • 6 slices Swiss Cheese

The butter mixture

  • ¼ cup light butter
  • ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • 1 tsp Dried onion
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the rolls in half lengthwise while keeping the tops and bottoms together.
  2. Line a 13x9 pan with parchment paper and place the bottom half of the rolls in the pan.
  3. Layer the ham evenly over the rolls, then cover with cheese slices.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
  5. Melt the butter and mix in mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the sandwiches.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F and cover the sandwiches with foil.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
