Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt, then mix into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle each dough ball with flaky sea salt.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 10-20 minutes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers look slightly undercooked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
