Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup packed light or dark brown sugar
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup roughly chopped macadamia nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Mix the melted butter, sugars, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla until combined, then add to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheets.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place on the baking sheets.
  7. Bake until lightly browned, then cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
