Ingredients

  • 5–10 leaves fresh mint leaves
  • 16 ounces hot water
  • ¼ teaspoon chocolate extract
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder or cacao powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Divide the mint leaves between two mugs.
  2. Pour the hot water over the mint.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to muddle the leaves to release the mint flavor.
  4. Let the mugs sit for a few minutes to allow the mint to infuse the hot water.
  5. Stir in the chocolate extract or cocoa powder.
  6. Remove the mint leaves before serving the tea hot.
