Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking pan with foil and nonstick spray.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar, stirring over medium heat until melted and combined.
- Cook the mixture for about one minute until it bubbles, then let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla into the cooled mixture.
- Add the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
