Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan or microwave.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing well.
- Add the eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
