Ingredients

The base

The candy

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until combined, then add the egg and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined, then fold in the chopped candy bars.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
