Crispy Baked Garlic Shrimp

The marinade

olive oil

garlic, pressed or grated

zested and juiced

finely chopped flat leaf parsley

dried oregano

crushed red pepper flakes
The coating

dried bread crumbs, finely ground
Instructions
- Rinse, shell, and devein the shrimp, then transfer to a bowl.
- Drizzle the shrimp with olive oil, pressed garlic, lemon juice and zest, parsley, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Toss to combine, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Pour the breadcrumbs into a shallow bowl.
- Shake off the excess marinade and lightly dredge each shrimp in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the shrimp in rows on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 4-5 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and the breadcrumbs begin to brown.
- Serve warm with a squeeze of extra lemon if desired.
