Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • ½ tablespoon white wine (optional)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley leaves, freshly chopped
  • as needed lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375º F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except the shrimp, parmesan, and 1 tablespoon of parsley.
  3. Place the shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp and sprinkle with parmesan.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through and pink.
