Garlicky Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

  • pounds raw shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 3 tablespoons white wine
  • to taste Kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1-2 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Italian-leaf parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, garlic, and white wine, then transfer to a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In the same bowl, mix melted butter and Panko until combined, then sprinkle over the shrimp.
  4. Bake for about 7 minutes until shrimp are turning pink.
  5. Switch to broil for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and Panko is golden.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
