Ingredients

The Meatloaf

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

The Glaze

  • cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix together all meatloaf ingredients until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  2. 2. Line the slow cooker insert with aluminum foil and shape the meat mixture into a loaf on the foil.
  3. 3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
  4. 4. Check the internal temperature of the meatloaf; it should reach 160°F for safety.
  5. 5. Once done, transfer the meatloaf to a baking sheet.
  6. 6. In a small bowl, mix together all glaze ingredients and spread over the meatloaf.
  7. 7. Broil the meatloaf for 3 to 4 minutes until the glaze is sticky.
  8. 8. Remove from oven and serve warm.
