Ingredients

The bread

  • 2 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Oil
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • cups Apple, finely chopped
  • cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Mix

  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 tsp of cinnamon.
  3. Chop the apples and toss them with the cinnamon sugar mix.
  4. Beat together the sugar, brown sugar, and oil.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
  6. Add the milk and combine all wet ingredients.
  7. Slowly add the dry ingredients in three batches until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  8. Fold in the apple cinnamon mixture, reserving a few pieces for decoration if desired.
  9. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
