Apple Cinnamon Bread

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix the apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a mixer, beat the butter and granulated sugar until creamy, then add the eggs, applesauce, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
- Spread half of the batter in the loaf pan, layer the apple mixture on top, and then add the remaining batter.
- Swirl the batter gently with a knife.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, covering with foil after 30 minutes to prevent over-browning.
- Cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
