Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8 by 4 loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, all spice, and cloves.
- In a stand mixer, beat the eggs, then add oil, applesauce, and vanilla until smooth.
- Mix in the sugar until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined, then fold in the apple chunks.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
