Instructions
- 1. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and add torn or cubed French bread.
- 2. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then pour over the bread.
- 3. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- 4. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, then cut in butter until crumbly.
- 5. Refrigerate the streusel mixture until ready to use.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove the French toast from the refrigerator and sprinkle the streusel on top.
- 7. Bake for 45-55 minutes until set and golden brown.
- 8. Serve warm with syrup if desired.
