Instructions
- Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes and fill a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, pumpkin butter, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Pour the mixture over the bread and press down to ensure it is soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
- Uncover, top with brown sugar, additional pumpkin pie spice, and nuts if desired.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Serve immediately with maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar.
