Ingredients

  • 42 ounces fresh milk
  • 6 ounces plain yogurt (Fage Greek for starter)

Instructions

  1. 1. Pour milk into a high-sided saucepan and heat until it boils (180 degrees).
  2. 2. Remove from heat and allow the milk to cool to lukewarm (110 degrees).
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with some of the milk and whisk until smooth.
  4. 4. Add the remaining milk to the mixture and whisk until combined.
  5. 5. Pour the mixture into the yogurt maker jars and follow the maker's instructions, resting for 10-12 hours.
  6. 6. Chill the yogurt in the fridge with lids on the jars.
