Ingredients

The chicken

  • pounds chicken drumsticks

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

The broth

  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  2. Combine the salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Pour the broth into the Instant Pot and place a trivet inside.
  5. Place the drumsticks on top of the trivet.
  6. Seal the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  7. Allow the pressure to release naturally for at least 5 minutes before using quick release if necessary.
  8. Optionally, use the air crisp lid or broiler to crisp up the skin.
