Easy Braised Tomatillo Chicken Drumsticks

The marinade

The sauce

jarred tomatillo sauce

chopped cilantro, divided

jalapeno, halved and seeded
Instructions
- 1. Season the chicken with vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano. Marinate for a few hours if possible.
- 2. Set the Instant Pot to sauté, add oil, and brown the chicken on both sides for about 4 minutes each.
- 3. Add the tomatillo sauce, 2 tablespoons of cilantro, and jalapeno. Cover and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
- 4. Once the pressure releases, garnish with cilantro and serve over rice if desired.
- 5. For slow cooker, place all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- 6. For stove top, follow the same directions, adding a little water, and cook covered on low for 30 to 40 minutes until tender.
