Chocolate and Peanut Balls

The coating

semi-sweet chocolate chips

chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Melt the butter with the peanut butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the rice cereal and icing sugar.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and sugar and mix tightly.
- Form balls 2.5 cm in diameter with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the balls for a few hours.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a bain-marie and keep warm.
- Coat each ball in the melted chocolate using a teaspoon.
- Roll the coated balls in chopped peanuts and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate again to allow the chocolate to harden.
