Ingredients

The pears

  • 1 pear Bartlett pear (or Anjou)

The toppings

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
  • 1 wedge The Laughing Cow Creamy White Cheddar Cheese
  • to taste cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a glass baking dish.
  2. Cut the pear in half and scoop out the core to create a hollow space.
  3. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon of brown sugar and cinnamon over the pear halves.
  4. Fill the hollow with half a tablespoon of chopped walnuts and top with the remaining ½ teaspoon of brown sugar.
  5. Place the pears cut side up in the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. While baking, soften the cheese and split it into two equal portions, shaping them into rounds.
  7. Once baked, carefully place the cheese rounds on top of the pears and sprinkle with the remaining walnuts and additional cinnamon if desired.
