Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • as needed spray vegetable cooking spray

Pizza Toppings

  • 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh, high moisture mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 large bunch basil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by processing the first four ingredients, then add flour and salt, pulsing until a ball forms.
  2. Place the dough in a bowl coated with cooking spray, cover, and chill for 2 hours.
  3. Roll the dough onto a floured surface, dividing it into approximately 6 equal portions.
  4. Set up your grill for indirect cooking, ensuring it reaches about 500-600 degrees.
  5. Coat the grill grates with nonstick spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the dough on the indirect side of the grill and cook until char marks form (about 4 minutes).
  7. Flip the dough, add toppings, and cook until the cheese is melted and the pizza is ready.
