Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 envelope dry active yeast (1/4 oz)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • as needed none vegetable cooking spray

Toppings

  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 large bunch fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Process the warm water, olive oil, yeast, and honey in a food processor, then add flour and salt, pulsing until the dough forms a ball.
  2. Place the dough in a bowl coated with cooking spray, cover, and chill for 2 hours.
  3. Roll the dough on a floured surface into a circle for the pizzas.
  4. Sprinkle flour and cornmeal on a cutting board or pizza peel, then place the dough on it and layer with marinara sauce.
  5. Add fresh mozzarella on top of the sauce.
  6. Set the Green Mountain Grill to Pizza Oven mode at 225°F, then slide the pizza into the oven.
  7. Cook for 4-8 minutes, turning once until the cheese bubbles and the pizza browns.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
