Ingredients

Meat Layer

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • ½ cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning

Cream Cheese & Sour Cream Layer

  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 8 oz Plain cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning (to taste)

Toppings

  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • ¾ cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ large Bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 medium Roma tomato (diced)
  • ¼ cup Red onion (diced)
  • 3 tbsp Black olives (sliced, drained)
  • to taste Cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add water and taco seasoning and cook until the water evaporates.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream cheese, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  3. Layer the cooked beef in a casserole dish, then spread the sour cream mixture on top.
  4. Add the toppings in the following order: shredded lettuce, cheese, diced bell pepper, diced tomato, diced onion, and sliced olives.
