Sauteed Kale

Ingredients

The kale

  • 1 bunch Curly kale

The cooking base

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Chop the kale, removing the stems and cutting the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped kale, sea salt, and black pepper to the skillet, and sauté until the kale has wilted down.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the butter, lemon juice, and crushed red pepper flakes until the butter melts.
