Sautéed Kale

Ingredients

The kale

  • 1 bunch kale

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • to taste none sea salt
  • to taste none freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 wedge lemon

Instructions

  1. Remove and discard the coarse parts of the kale stems and chop or tear the leaves.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the kale leaves, garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  4. Sauté for 2 to 4 minutes until the kale has wilted down.
  5. Turn off the heat, squeeze lemon juice over the kale, and toss.
  6. Season to taste and serve.
