Sauteed Kale with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the kale without drying it and slice it into 1-inch thick strips, discarding the thick stems.
  2. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic.
  3. Cook the garlic for about a minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the kale to the skillet and stir to combine, then cover and let it steam until the leaves turn bright green.
  5. Remove the lid and stir, adding a little water if necessary, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
