Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 package pasta of choice

The protein

  • 1 package sausage of choice, sliced into ½ inch pieces

The vegetables

  • 1 12 oz jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
  • 1 bunch organic spinach
  • 1 bunch chives, chopped (optional)

The seasonings and oil

  • 2 tbsp Lucini Italia olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

The liquid

  • 4 ¼ cups water

The cheese

  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add pasta, sausage, artichoke hearts, olive oil, spinach, sea salt, black pepper, and water to a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring with tongs to prevent sticking.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
  4. Cook over low heat for 8-9 minutes.
  5. Add chopped chives and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top before serving.
  6. Adjust seasonings to taste and enjoy!
