Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, pesto, lemon juice, and garlic in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the cut sides of ciabatta rolls with olive oil and toast them in a skillet until golden brown.
- Spread the pesto aioli on both sides of the toasted rolls.
- Add arugula to each sandwich, followed by mozzarella slices and then tomato slices.
- Top with fresh basil leaves, drizzle with balsamic if desired, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
